K-6 Workshop
Mission
Offers a comprehensive history of the African American experience in the U.S. Detailing everything from the era of slavery to the battles for civil rights even up until our present day role models. Started With Us Workshop gives students a chance to learn about leaders of color throughout multiple generations who started, advanced and sustained the culture.
How We Do It

It Started With Us Workshop takes black history figures and educate the children on the inventions and contributions made to our society.

We use the lesson on those figures to interact with them using the Q&A model to engage and retain information learned during the workshop.

Provide “Hands On” STEM projects to recreate inventions made by those black history figures, using household items to promote courage and creativity
Box Truck Plays
Prison Reformation Workshop
Mission
Box Truck Plays is a platform for formally incarcerated individuals who are looking to enter and/or expand their knowledge in the trucking industry. Without a drivers license, a CDL or thousands of start up funds. We simplify the barrier of entry into this field while encouraging and motivating progression.

We achieve this mission with our work with felons, lower income individuals, and individuals who wanted to take their life back and work for themselves.

This program empowers and inspires these young individuals to discover their inner motivation and develop skills that will help them overcome challenges they may face in their lives.
